This morning I was going to start my first vlog! So I got all in order, and was all ready to put on my make up, get my hair fixed and with camera powered up, I was ready to roll!
I sat up a desk, it's really cool, has an old fashion 3 tier mirror that I absolutely adore! Everything was set, except me! Oh, and what exactly was I going to vlog about! Well, I'm pretty good at rambling about nothing, so I think that's a fine place to start! I guess just talking about myself, after all what else is there! :) :P
I have a really pretty Rottweiler, and she's my LIFE! I love her... probably too much! She's getting to be an old gal, but she's a good dog and she loves me unconditionally! After all if you ever want to be loved without conditions on you... BY ALL MEANS GET A DOG! People you never thought of will knife you in the back, but a dog will stand by you no matter what kind of hair day you're having and judge you NOT! :) She's been by my side for the past 12 years, which is beyond the span of a Rotties life.
The vet said she's lived so long because well, for one, she had a bout with cancer! I was rubbing her tummy one day and felt a hard crusty thing under one of her tata's! OMG.. it was kinda big, but I had her into the vets right away and they did tests, and sure enough, it was cancer!
Well, they did surgery and got it out, and it's been a good 4 years ago since that happened, but she's doing great!
My best advice to anyone, is when you pet your animal, pet them all over! Don't just pat them on the noggin once in awhile, if I did that I might never have found that lump! So I'm glad I sat on the floor with her watching her be the big ham that she is, and rubbed her belly! Because of that, she's here with me right now today! (Currently thinking she's sneaking a snooze on my old fashion sofa, but she's not fooling nobody! I know where she is, I'm just so glad to have her, she means more to me than any sofa even if it is an antique) :)
As soon as I fall asleep, she gets up and lays by my side, it's like "Hummmph, ol' mommie has to be on that typing thing, ignoring me" lol, it's cute actually. She's my pride and my joy!
Anyway, back to my make up brushes LOL... I was FRANTIC looking for them, after all I don't buy cheap drug store ones, they're nice quality ones that never lose a hair, glide on my skin smooth as silk and I take good care of them. I guess that's why I couldn't find them! I'd cleaned them in their special cleaner, then put them to dry hanging downward and all perfect with their plastic cases holding them as if they were brand new!
I'd gotten a special case for them so they'd have their own little place, and having rearranging my house, I put their bag in another place than I'm used to, so when I went to get my stuff so I could get busy on my vlog, BLAH THEY WERE NOT WITH MY MAKE UP!????
Talk about feeling as if someone hit me upside the head with a brick! lol. Well, I sent a text message to a friend who also doesn't use anything but Sephora, M.A.C. Estee Lauder and good make up, and said "Help, I can't find my brushes" ... ah, there came back the BLING of a mind at work, she said "stop freaking, sit down for an hour and it'll come to you" that was it.
So, at the words of her great advice... I turned on good old Netflix and watched a few episodes of "Lie To Me" (which is actually a pretty cool show) and during that, BAM! I jumped up, flew across the room, opened an old cabinet and VIOLA! There was my favorite purple case that holds ONLY my best items and BELOVED BRUSHES!
Here's you to my FINE FRIEND OF THE MORNING! There was one draw back to this morning, by the time I'd sat down, snuggled up for a few episodes of an ongoing saga of TA-DA "to lie or how to get out of it" LOL I'd gotten sleepy and with my beloved set right beside me, I just didn't have the energy to finish up, let alone think about what I was going to vlog about!
I guess I could have made one about how I went bonkers looking for my bag! LOL! Um, maybe that's what I'm doing now, well, in either event, they are safe and sound in their purple case awaiting use for this weekend! So, I'm going to try to get on that and make a vlog and most likely post it here first! I do have a YouTube channel and I LOVE You Tube, so I'll have to figure out if maybe I should make two, one for here, one for there or just one in general! Well, I guess I'm BLOGGED out for now, and I'm going to get some sleep and hopefully this weekend I'll set up my stuff, at least now I know for sure, I'll be ready! :)
