Graphics Programs

Learning a new graphics program can be fun, if you have the time, and feel you just can't learn enough about them! I've taken a few classes on it, and find that it's just as easy to buy the college books and learn from the cd/dvd that comes with it!
Don't get me wrong, I really loved the digital photography classes and most of all one of the photography professors! He was always there to look over your shoulder, and remind you of tiny things you might have forgotten.
There's also the things you learned in the basics of art, like WHITE is a color. Using a white spot or area in a photo or even art/drawing.
Now days, whose really to say what is art, and what isn't. That lump of clay can be quite intriguing to some! Not me per se ;) but to anybody. I've found that I do have a certain program I love doing graphics in. But for some reason, it's died down and everything is Photoshop. While I don't doubt it's potential at all, (it was one of my digital classes) I found other things in other programs, that make one just want to use more than one.
I haven't been able to get into flash, or any animations, although I've seen some absolutely amazing ones! Well, in this post I just would like to bring up some digital photos I've done of myself.
Since I don't have a willing subject lol, it doesn't matter how badly I botch it! I only know how badly I've botched a make up job or two, to know the photos don't seem to leave that lasting impression that you're disfigured yourself horribly! lol. Well, this is my first attempt at adding my photos to blogger using Picasa.
I got Picasa with my new Sony camera. (Camera's usually do give a new graphics program, or at least a limited edition so you might buy the whole one, which is how I acquired my old time favorite Picture Publisher) I've had tons of photos in Picasa before I realized I could use it directly with blogger! I saw the icon, and didn't take the time to figure out how it worked together until today!
So I hopefully have figured out, a graphics program that I can share my photos publically, along with a blog! Welp, thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy (or get a laugh) of my photos! If it works out, I'll be sure to do more that's for sure! ~Kathy
