To some it might be a waste of time, but I think not. I think it'd be a waste of time NOT to do it. Never in my childhood dreams could I have had such a fantastic toy. A big kid toy! It's just fun, fun for me, and I hope amusing to some. There's such great artist out there, I've had the pleasure of getting to see.
I thumb through myspace pages, not really caring who the people are, but rather if they're profile is open to view pictures. Not family pictures per se, but things they've made up of their own. I have a few favorites that I like to check in on once in awhile. I totally dig it when my friends do things with their photos as well. It's great to see them, when just, what seems like a few short years ago all we had was chat.Email and that was about it. Then the WWW thingie came along and slowly swoop us all up and having us wanting web pages of our own. Back on the old 286's they were a long time loading, but then soon came higher faster speeds to upload. Most kids of today don't remember the times when you turned on your computer and had to turn off the graphics until the text loaded, and then it was very little. People were writing on bulletin boards and meeting like minded people like that, nobody cared what anybody looked like, we all went by what we liked in their words. Great times I'll never forget. When I realized Windows had paint, I decided to make a Mandala. I did it dot by dot in perfect sequences, but it's long gone. There's no way to get it off that tiny floppy disc. Yes, I remember the big floppies too. lol.
Anyway, again here is another one of my "self portraits" that I thought looked a tad bit like a freaky movie character. Ha... Well, I hope someone out there enjoys reading my little blogs about ME lol and my photos! Maybe next time I'll have a good scenery picture to put up and give someone a break in reading about my digitally enhanced photos! Stay cool!
