Kath, it's me, Susieq42. Finally got around to reading your blog. This topic is real touchy. I watched a movie a long time ago about a woman who was forced to give up either her daughter or son. It was based on a true story during the time of Hitler. The woman gave up her daughter because her son could carry on the family name. Imagine being forced to do this! Anyway, the woman was reliving this nightmare as an alcoholic. The memory sent her into being an alcoholic!!!

ReplyDeleteBut in a short, people should pick up a history book and stay alerted to world politics. There are Hitler's in command today. Different name, different place. Look to China and N. Korea. I wish I could send this particular person to live there and see how they like a bread line and to see their friends children taken away and know the pain first hand. They need to look at all the UNINHABITED land on Google Earth and see exactly the truth, there is no such thing as overcrowding. I've lived in Texas, and there's a LOT of open land, to cram themselves up into a college town, then whine about too many people! They are just stupid, and I don't like to name call, but hey when the shoe fits you know. People need to know if this women you mention had alcohol to drown her heartache, it would be better than going into a mental institution as many do in China and if they don't come around they're executed, a 2011 not 1940's, it still happens. like I said, new name, new face, SAME deaths! Anyway it's good to see you, I should make a hub on this it is a touchy subject but one I am very well educated on, and when I hear American's complain I just want to put them on a ship to China or N.Korea and see how they like bowing to a photograph of their dictator rather than earning a fair wage everyday. Cut off from all communication, no cell phones, only the rich (politicians) have tv, no computers, and all food regulated! See how they like that, it would shut them up in a hurry.
